A little backstory: I'm a solo indie developer that had spent the last 5 years learning Unity, with the goal of fully realizing a passion project of mine. I have successfully released 4 titles using Unity, a way of getting my foot in the door before I devote my time to a massive project. Everything was going good until they decided to charge developers per installation, which is one of the most greedy and asinine ways a company could make a quick buck! I can't stay with a company that would release insane changes without warning, I had lost all trust in Unity. That same day, I switched over to Godot and I'm utterly shocked at how user-friendly it is, huge shoutout to the brilliant people behind this open-source game engine. You guys are awesome!

This little project is my first game in Godot, a form of protest that shows exactly how I and many other developers around the world are feeling about Unity right now. It's nothing much, but it's all about the message. So yeah, screw Unity!!!

Oh man, 560 highscore, fun game! Don't worry it was not 5 years wasted for nothing. I'm sure your experiences gathered will translate easily into Godot or any other game engine. Good luck with your new game dev journey.
